Ratish Dalvi has over 15 years of experience building AI and machine learning systems across healthcare, insurance, adtech, oil & gas pipelines, and automotive industries.
At Roots, he leads the AI team, focusing on developing large vision-language reasoning models tailored to industry-specific use cases.
Previously, Ratish led the AI team at Quartet Health, where he developed their machine learning training infrastructure and created a novel system combining multi-armed bandits with linear programming to improve patient mental health outcomes. He began his data science career at Wise.io, a seed-stage AI startup in Berkeley, CA, where he co-developed the machine learning stack that contributed to the company's acquisition by General Electric.
